With many injectable options available on the market today, RHA2 & RHA4 has long-lasting results for up to 15 months in moderate to severe wrinkles, folds and up to 1 year in lipstick lines. RHA4 is used to correct moderate to severe facial folds around the mouth and nose to enhance volume without obvious ridges, while RHA2 is perfect for softening radial cheek lines giving a more desired natural look.
Administering Rha2 & Rha4
RHA2 & RHA4 is a safe and effective cosmetic treatment when administered by a qualified professional like Dr. Khoobehi. The filler is designed to mimic the natural hyaluronic acid found in the body, allowing for a more natural-looking and long lasting results. The treatment involves injecting RHA2 & RHA4 into the targeted areas using a very fine needle. . If you are worried about pain, we can put a topical numbing gel on the area before the injection. You will feel minor pain, but keep in mind that the medication is blended with lidocaine as well.
What To Expect
RHA2 & RHA4 is gel substance that is administered via needle at a 15 – 30 degree angle parallel to the length of the wrinkle or fold. There is no sedation needed, although a numbing cream is usually applied first to help with any discomfort. The injection sites will be sterilized and marked with ink. Once the filler is injected, results are immediately noticeable. Dr. Khoobehi may massage the treated area, so the filler spreads evenly. Other than temporary redness, the treatment has no after effect that will prevent a patient from going back to normal routine. Patients should avoid strenuous exercise for approximately 24 hours.
Expected Cost
One full syringe of RHA2 on average costs $600.00, and RHA4 on average costs $850. The final cost of treatment will depend on how many syringes of the product were used. Some sessions may take 1-3 syringes. Dr. Khoobehi is known for his expertise and personalized approach in administering RHA2 & RHA4. Am I A Candidate?
Men and women, who meet the age of 22 requirement, make ideal candidates for the RHA2 & RHA4 injections (the Food and Drug Administration has not approved this drug for younger persons under 21). If you are taking immunosuppressive therapies, have severe allergies, a history of disproportionate scarring, or are taking blood thinning prescriptions, RHA2 & RHA4 may not be the right choice for you. This will all be discussed during a consultation with Dr. Khoobehi.

What Are The Risks?
Any medication problems you may have from your RHA2 & RHA4 injections should last no more than 14 days, which may include bumpy skin at any site of injection, skin discoloration, bumps/lumps, swelling, bruising, pain, itching, or hardness under the skin. If you experience any discomforting side effects from this injectable, please contact our office as soon as possible to report it.

Do The Injections Hurt?
Dr. Khoobehi will take every precaution to make RHA2 & RHA4 injections as comfortable as possible. It may look painful when you view a video of the injections, however, numbing agent is provided (if necessary), and please keep in mind that RHA2 & RHA4 has lidocaine blended into it as well. Dr. Khoobehi doesn’t you to feel unnecessary pain, and will do his best to limit the discomfort.
